Job description

Title: Product Manager
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: Long term
Description:
The Digital Product Owner is a key position in the digital team that supports website/mobile application development, deployment and support management. This person will work with key business stakeholders in discovery analysis and subsequent requirements that support the strategy and objectives of the business. This position will also assist with web-based application deployment and maintenance, hence digital experience is a must. The candidate also need to possess technical knowledge to collaborate across other IT functions. This person should also have experience in JIRA. Retail/Merchandizing experience preferred.
High Level Responsibilities:
  • Driving workshops with business/Technology teams
  • Analyze the as is System, determine the areas of improvement and derive the future state by evaluating the technology options
  • Leverage JIRA to record User Stories, Development Tasks, Test Scripts and Production Issues
  • Being the voice of the customer and providing a business perspective on value during day-to-day development
  • Backlog management and continuous delivery of features using Agile Kanban Board
  • Track and manage product backlog, burn down metrics, velocity, and task breakdown
  • Support an Agile Software Development process, working in conjunction with stakeholders and technical delivery team
  • Act as an Subject Matter Expert on Multi Channel initiatives involving Augmented Reality, Connected Ecosystem and Digital Payments
  • Utilize MySQL, Tableau and other dashboard/Visualization toolsets for data intelligence and Analysis.
  • Use Analytic Tools like Mix Panel and implement new scripts to improve Application performance
  • Leverage DJANGO CMS for creating/Managing App Tiles, Dynamic Overlays for Mobile App Promotions
  • Propose new development/deployment workflows to benefit the existing solution
  • Involve in App Remediation exercises to identify bottlenecks and errors that can lead to instability in the Applications
  • Release/deployment planning and execution activities. Validate the applications in Stage environment and then plan the migration to Production environment
  • Create production validation test Scenarios for the Mobile Engineering and the Backend API team's
  • Help/Perform functional, regression, deployment, and integration testing
  • Analyze the test environment for usability and user interface design. Defect tracking, recording, and management to ensure defect correction completion
