Job description

Job Title: Senior IT Auditor (Associate Director)

Location: Jersey City, NJ | Dallas, TX | Tampa, FL (Hybrid Schedule)
Employment Type: Full-Time


Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior IT Auditor at the Associate Director level with a strong background in IT risk, audit execution, and control evaluation. This role will support critical internal audit initiatives focused on technology and cybersecurity, while leading parts of the audit process. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with audit and business teams.

This is a full-time hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of IT audits

  • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal IT controls

  • Identify risks and recommend improvements for technology systems and processes

  • Prepare thorough and accurate audit documentation in alignment with policy and regulatory standards

  • Conduct root cause analysis for audit findings and monitor remediation efforts

  • Work closely with stakeholders to validate action plans and ensure timely resolution

  • Collaborate with peers and leadership to maintain audit quality and integrity

  • Participate in internal improvement initiatives and maintain audit process knowledge


Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT Audit, Internal Audit, or a related field

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience

  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment, audit methodology, and IT control frameworks

  • Experience with audit software and tools (e.g., TeamMate, ACL, etc.) is a plus

  • Certifications such as CISA, CIA, CPA, CFA, or FRM are beneficial but not required

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage timelines, priorities, and cross-functional relationships

Schedule & Work Model
  • Hybrid model: 3 days onsite (Tuesdays, Wednesdays + 1 flexible day)

  • 2 days remote per week
