Career Description
An Audit Analyst works under direct supervision of an audit manager to perform Risk Based audits of ADM entities throughout the world. On each assignment the Audit Analyst will lead staff members and review, assimilate, and logically document work procedures performed at ADM entities with a focus on the inherent risks associated with each entity. Upon completion of each audit assignment, Audit Analyst will work with project staff and audit manager to provide ADM Management and the Board of Directors with analysis, information, and recommendations in an objective, accurate, and timely fashion.
Requirements:
  • BA or BS degree in Accounting or related field
  • Understanding of agriculture industry and/or commodity trading, and basic geometry
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written formats to all levels of employees
  • Must possess the capacity to deal successfully with conflict
  • Aptitude to balance multiple priorities to meet more stringently established deadlines
  • Demonstrates leadership skills and ability to make decisions independently
  • Ability to apply previously gained knowledge to new situations
  • Understanding of basic training and motivation skills
  • Possesses strong organizational skills
  • Capability to climb ladders up to 100 feet high
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50 percent of the time going to ADM Entities Worldwide. 30-40% travel is typical.

Traditionally Assigned Performance Development Goals
  • Take action on individual execution plan outlined as a staff auditor to obtain professional certification (CPA, CIA, and CISA) and make progress toward plan goals.
  • When performing lead role on audit engagements have all work completed and turned into project manager no later than 25 and that the draft report is issued no more than 30 business days after the last day in the field.
  • As a lead auditor, write project evaluations for all staff that work with you to provide constructive feedback on a timely basis - within 10 days of when a report drafts.
