Description

TheDirector of Audiologywilllead and oversee audiology services within our busy ENT practice. This roleis responsible forensuring high-quality diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing andbalancecare, supervising audiology staff,optimizingoperational performance, and supporting practice growth. TheDirector of Audiology will usestrong clinicalexpertisewith leadership, program development, and a collaborative approach to patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the audiology department within a busy ENT practice
  • Supervise, mentor, and support audiologists, hearing instrument specialists, and audiology support staff
  • Provide or oversee comprehensive audiologic evaluations, hearing aid services, vestibular testing, and other hearing and balance-related services as applicable
  • Partner closely with ENT physicians and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care and ensuretimely, integrated service delivery
  • Develop, implement, andmaintaindepartmental policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
  • Monitor scheduling, staffing, patient flow, and service capacity tooptimizeefficiency and access

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Doctor of Audiology (Aud) from an accredited programrequired
  • Active and unrestricted state audiology license, or ability to obtain licensure in the applicable state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or equivalent professional credential preferred, based on practice requirements
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive audiology experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnostic audiology, hearing aid services, and outpatient hearing healthcare operations
  • Experience with budgeting, performance metrics, scheduling optimization, and program development preferred
  • Proficiencywith electronic health records, audiology systems, and standard clinical documentation platforms

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of Specialty Care Networks’ salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/ training and other qualifications.
