Job Description

UW Medical Center-Montlake - Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Audiologist Specialist 1.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Part-Time / 32 hours per week

• Day Shift

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently plan, direct and administer evaluation and intervention to patients throughout the medical center.

• Assess and treat a routine patient utilizing training in the evaluation and treatment process.

• Seek mentorship and training in the evaluation and treatment of patients with complex diagnoses.

• Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and function.

• Collaborate with other disciplines as appropriate to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission to discharge.

• Participate in program development and quality improvement tasks.

• Ensure that patient charges and documentation are accurate and entered on a timely basis.

• Participate in infection control, equipment training, compliance, safety and educational programs, both at the departmental and organization level.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed by the State of Washington as an Audiologist.

A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

OR Equivalent education/experience.
