Job description

Role Description: 

This role shapes the visual culture of NewSpring's middle school and high school environments. It captures real stories of life-change, crafts high-energy digital content and produces immersive visual assets that meet the students where they are—both in the room and on their screens.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create video content for Fuse while pursuing truth, unity, and beauty in all that you create. 
  • Must possess the drive to learn, grow, and extend knowledge/skill set as often as possible.
  • Concept, shoot, and edit high-energy series promos, roll-ins, counters, and creative content for weekly student gatherings.
  • Maintain, organize, and steward Fuse film equipment (cameras, lenses, audio gear, lighting kits) and maintain an organized media archive.
  • Direct talent and manage shoots efficiently.
  • Produce trend-aware, platform-optimized short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) to drive student engagement and promote upcoming series.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a group of student and adult volunteer videographers, photographers, and editors to expand production capacity.
  • Actively involved at the campus level with Fuse.
  • Travel to campuses - one time per year.
  • Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.

Role Requirements:

  • This role is full time 40 hours per week.
  • This role is eligible to receive a housing allowance.
  • A degree is preferred.
  • This role adheres to a standard schedule, knowing it may fluctuate at times & based on certain needs. Standard schedule is:
    • Sunday: 8:15AM - 1:00PM
    • Monday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM
    • Tuesday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM
    • Wednesday: 10:30AM - 9:00PM
    • Thursday: 9:00AM - 1:00PM
