No Position Summary Information Job Description Summary Responsible for Weatherford College's instructional audio/visual needs and provides technical support for filming and maintaining Weatherford College's video content on social media. The scope of responsibility encompasses all audio/video; equipment operations and maintenance, smart classroom configurations, training, help desk support, media, asset management and special projects.

This position has budgetary responsibility (planning, preparation and maintenance) of a distinct department for Instructional Technology. A secondary job duty is to provide Tier-1 and Tier-2 computer help desk support when not fulfilling primary responsibilities. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Required Education Associate's degree or equivalent experience in an A/V related field or Video Conferencing technologies.

Preferred Education 2-year degree in audio-visual or related field. Required Experience Experience working with audiovisual equipment and computers. Preferred Experience Experience supporting AV in a college setting, filming experience, and knowledge of computer video and audio systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Directs audio/visual support (recording and editing) of the President's Office for social media usage and support for high profile special events. * Records, archives, and posts Weatherford College Board meetings, to include the closed session portion of the meetings. * Ensures that all A/V equipment in WC classrooms is operational and installed according to standard college configurations.

Includes monitoring and troubleshooting as well as repairs. * Creates multi-media presentations for faculty, and staff. * Supports special projects and events by ensuring equipment is available and installed to support reservations, and provide A/V expertise as appropriate to the event.

* Provides training to faculty in the correct use of technology in the classrooms and provides A/V training to the College as appropriate. * Configures, installs and tracks all A/V assets according to WC policy and procedure. * Provides consulting services to the Fine Arts Center when requested and as resources allow.

* Provides video services as requested and conversion to digital media. Provides media conversion services for older format standards. * Provides Tier-1 and Tier-2 technical support for faculty, staff, students, and community patrons when time permits.

* Maintains and updates WC campus YouTube channel. Works with the VP of Institutional Advancement for approval of all content. * Assists with training of part-time AV Technicians and work-study students.

* Other duties as assigned by the Client Services Manager.
