Description:

Technician I – Foundation Technician

Install • Service • Preventative Maintenance

Build a Career. Not Just a Job.

Barranco Enterprises has spent 25 years building a reputation in specialty equipment installation, service, and preventative maintenance. We support convenience stores and restaurants across the country by installing and maintaining beverage systems, ice machines, and food equipment.

As we expand nationally, we are not just hiring technicians:

  • We are building professionals.
  • We run organized jobs.
  • We hold a high standard.
  • We expect our technicians to do the job right the first time.

If you want structure, stability, and a clear path forward — keep reading.

Your First 12 Weeks: A Paid Investment in Your Success

Every technician begins in our Foundation Phase.

This is a structured 12-week development program where you are:

  • Paid to train
  • Exposed to every major job type we perform
  • Taught in both classroom and field settings
  • Certified through our internal technical curriculum
  • Trained to operate under the Barranco Standard

If you’re new to the trade, this is your entry into a technical career.

If you’re experienced, this ensures alignment to how we execute — safely, professionally, and consistently across every market we serve.

This is not orientation.

It is a paid technical education process.

The Tech Ladder: Performance Drives Pay

We operate on a defined advancement ladder:

Technician I ? Technician II ? Technician III

Scaling the ladder means scaling your pay.

Advancement is directly tied to:

  • Skill validation
  • Safety performance
  • Technical competency
  • Field readiness

Most entrants into the program become Tech III Certified Technicians in less than 14 months.

If you move quickly, your pay moves quickly.

There are clear gates. Clear expectations. No guesswork.

What the Work Looks Like

  • Structured multi-week travel rotations
  • Installations and equipment rollouts
  • Preventative maintenance programs
  • Beverage and ice machine service
  • Active retail and restaurant environments
  • Defined scopes of work
  • Professional jobsite standards

This is a travel-based role. You will be on the road for extended rotations.

We are transparent about that upfront because we value professionalism on both sides.

Compensation & Benefits

We take care of our technicians.

  • Competitive pay with advancement tied to performance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • 100% employer-paid medical benefits (employee-only coverage)
  • $180 per diem paid based on projected schedule
  • 180 hours (18 days) of initial Flex Time
  • Opportunity to earn additional Flex hours
  • Continuity bonuses
  • Paid technical training during Foundation Phase

We provide stability, structure, and long-term opportunity in a high-demand trade.

Who Thrives Here

You’ll do well here if you:

  • Show up on time
  • Take pride in clean, professional work
  • Respect safety standards
  • Follow defined processes
  • Want consistent work
  • Are serious about advancement

This is not a loose, figure-it-out environment.

We are building a national service platform. Discipline matters.

For Experienced Technicians

If you’ve worked in refrigeration, HVAC, beverage systems, or commercial food equipment:

You will not be treated like a rookie.

But you will be expected to meet our standard.

In return, you gain:

  • National account stability
  • Repeatable scopes
  • Organized operations
  • Clear advancement path
  • Consistent workload

No wondering where the next job is coming from.

If you’re ready to build a career inside a disciplined, growing organization — apply today.

We’re building technicians who operate at a higher level.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
