Job description

Position Overview
The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for unloading product from freight carriers, transferring product to holding locations, and preparing product for delivery to customers.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Unloads product delivered to the warehouse by various vendors.
  • Inspects product for freight damage.
  • Reconciles packing list to receiving tickets.
  • Ensures cartons received are labeled with correct purchase order number and date.
  • Completes location detail and record on receiving tickets.
  • Opens, inspects, and cleans product for delivery.
  • Pulls product from rack location.
  • Reconciles product pulled from location for delivery.
  • Notes damaged product and flags for repair
  • Loads outbound trucks for next day delivery
  • Assists in general warehousing tasks to include, but not limited to, unloading trailers, locating stock, pulling stock, and general housekeeping.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and thorough when completing work tasks.
  • Have mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
