Job description

Job Summary:
BambooHR is a company focused on transforming HR through innovative software solutions. They are seeking a Helpdesk Technician to support their office IT needs by troubleshooting technical issues and providing A/V support for company meetings.
Responsibilities:
• Help end users resolve technical workstation issues (both Windows and macOS).
• Provision new IT equipment (laptops, monitors, and specialized A/V hardware).
• Provide A/V support for company meetings, including executive-led and large meetings, and maintain conference rooms and Zoom Rooms to ensure they are fully functional and meeting-ready.
• Troubleshoot network issues (VLANs, Routing, Switching) as they relate to workstations and A/V endpoints.
• Automate job responsibilities—leveraging AI tools where applicable—for continued efficiency.
• Contribute to the ongoing documentation and runbooks of our systems and processes.
• Provide occasional off-hours or offsite support for special events with advance notice.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 1+ years experience in a Help Desk, Tech Support, or A/V Support role.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• An ability to learn and communicate technical information clearly to all levels of the organization.
• Experience with computer hardware repair and maintenance.
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work primarily onsite in our Draper office.
Preferred:
• Associate’s Degree in related fields.
• Proven experience providing 'white-glove' support to leadership in high-pressure environments.
• Experience with specialized A/V hardware (Neat, Crestron, or similar).
• Experience utilizing ChatGPT, Gemini, Moveworks, and/or other AI tools to improve IT workflows.
• Experience with Okta, Jamf Pro, or Microsoft InTune.
• You have basic network experience (VLANs, Routing, Switching).
• You are self-motivated, an ambitious learner, and a proactive communicator.
