Employment Type: Full-Time
Automated Technology Systems Inc. (ATS) is seeking an experienced Audiovisual Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on AV professional who can lead installations in the field, coordinate with project managers, and ensure high-quality execution across residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
• Execute audiovisual installations including audio, video, control systems, and networking
• Supervise and support technicians and installers on job sites
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and project documentation
• Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other trades
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Maintain ATS quality standards, safety practices, and jobsite organization
• Provide client-facing support and professional communication as needed
Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on audiovisual installation experience
• Strong knowledge of AV systems (audio, video, control, networking)
• Experience leading crews and managing onsite workflows
• Ability to troubleshoot systems independently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Active NYS 40-Hour Site Safety Training (SST) Card – REQUIRED
