What is an audio visual foreman?

Audio Visual Foremen are professionals responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and operation of audio and visual equipment at job sites or events. Audio Visual Foremen also communicate with clients and other contractors to make sure all AV requirements are fulfilled efficiently and safely.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an audio visual foreman?

To thrive as an Audio Visual Foreman, you need a solid background in AV installation, technical troubleshooting, and project management, often supported by relevant certifications like CTS or OSHA. Familiarity with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron), wiring schematics, and construction site safety protocols is crucial.
