Job description

CTi has been a leading audiovisual provider since we began in 1988, and from the beginning, our mission has been simple: to provide a fantastic customer experience.
At CTi, our biggest asset is our people, and we know that sometimes the most awesome employees don’t fit the typical mold. If you are hardworking, friendly, and know the importance of fantastic customer service, you could be a good fit at CTi. We have developed a collaborative and lively working environment, where the best and the brightest show up to work each day ready to have fun and employ their passion for and knowledge of technology into everything they do. This creative atmosphere helps us apply and share our skills with our clients, who seek quality, high-end AV and Conference Solutions.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an AudioVisual Service Specialist to support Newton County Courts in Covington, GA, and Walton County Courts in Monroe, GA, whose attitude, skills, and work ethic embody our mission, “to provide a fantastic customer experience.” This role supports multiple courtrooms across both locations, so we need someone dependable, polished, and ready to represent CTI with professionalism and care.

When a courtroom system goes down, or a hearing is about to begin, you are the calm, capable expert who keeps things moving. Join CTi to support courtroom AV environments, troubleshoot issues quickly, train end users with confidence, and deliver the kind of fantastic customer experience that restores trust and builds strong client relationships.

If you have strong AV integration and troubleshooting experience, enjoy working directly with people, and can confidently support systems like Wolf Vision and QSC, this could be a great fit. Courtroom support experience is a plus, but what matters most is your ability to combine technical know-how with professionalism, responsiveness, and great service.

What are your responsibilities?

- Respond to service needs for installed AV systems across multiple courtrooms in Newton County Courts and Walton County Courts (mileage will be reimbursed)
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with courtroom AV systems, including:

  • Camera, presentation, and visual collaboration systems, including Wolf Vision
  • Audio systems, including microphones, speakers, DSPs, and QSC platforms
  • Video routing, switching, and presentation support for courtroom proceedings
  • Control and integrated AV systems used in live, high-visibility client environments

- Resolve hardware, software, configuration, and user-experience issues with urgency and professionalism
- Conduct preventative maintenance to keep courtroom systems operating reliably and at optimum levels
- Work with programmers and technical teams as needed to load updates and support system changes
- Deliver fantastic, customer-facing support and help de-escalate high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure
- Train court staff and users on AV systems and best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates
- Work a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility to arrive early or stay late as needed
- Other tasks as assigned

Will you fit in?

At CTi, we work hard, support each other, and bring a little personality to what we do. We are serious about delivering for our clients, but we also believe great teams are built by people who are collaborative, authentic, and ready to jump in.

You might be a great fit if:

- You can work independently and stay organized, but you also know when to ask questions and lean on your team.
- You communicate clearly, build strong relationships, and know how to represent CTI well in professional client environments.
- You stay calm under pressure, keep a level head when things get tense, and know how to turn frustrating moments into positive outcomes.
- You care about doing things the right way, delivering a great experience, and being the kind of person clients are genuinely glad to see walk through the door.

Does experience count?

- AV Integration Experience: At least 4 years of commercial AV integration experience is required.
- Troubleshooting Experience: At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting commercial AV integration systems is required.
- Client Training Experience: At least 2 years of experience training clients on AV integration systems is required.
- Customer Experience: Customer service experience is a must! We need someone who can provide polished, professional support and create a positive experience even in high-pressure situations.
- Relationship Building: Experience building strong client relationships is required.
- Court Experience: Experience supporting courtroom environments is a big plus, but not required.
- Platform Experience: Experience with Wolf Vision and QSC systems is strongly preferred.
- Transportation: A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required to support multiple courthouse locations. You must be able to pass a criminal background check and a driving history check.
- Education: An associate's degree is preferred, but not required. We take into account your experience, skill level, and what you bring to the table as an individual.
- Attitude and Aptitude: Are key! We need someone who is eager to learn, steady under pressure, and comes to work ready to tackle any situation.
What’s in it for you?
At CTi, we know our company’s success is directly correlated to the success of our employees. So it’s fitting that we thrive on and encourage employee growth, both professionally and personally.
