Future Opening: Commercial Audio Video Integration Manager / Technical Lead

Full Time • Lake Forest

Commercial AV & Low-Voltage Integration

Location: In-Person- Lake Forest, CA
Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly + Bonus

Position Summary

We are seeking an Integration Manager / Technical Lead to own field execution quality, technical standards, and job readiness across our commercial AV and low-voltage projects.

This is an hands-on role and requires frequent site visits and coordination with sub-contractors. You will work closely with ownership and Project Managers to ensure work in the field is completed correctly, efficiently, and consistently.

This role does not own project scheduling or sales.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Enforce installation and quality standards across all field work
  • Serve as technical escalation point for technicians and subcontractors
  • Provide design and engineering support as needed for install execution
  • Verify job readiness (materials, drawings, scope, site conditions)
  • Oversee warehouse staging, material accuracy, and returns
  • Track daily field completions and open punch list items
  • Own closeout documentation, as-builts, labeling, and system acceptance
  • Support commissioning and final system verification
  • Identify field issues impacting margin and escalated appropriately
Not Responsible For
  • Estimating or sales
  • Hiring or firing subcontractors
  • Approving change orders or receivables
Required Qualifications
  • Commercial AV or low-voltage integration experience
  • Hands-on installation and troubleshooting background
  • Working knowledge of:
    • QSYS, Biamp, Extron (minor DSP edits)
    • Commercial networking (Netgear or equivalent)
    • Structured cabling systems
  • Ability to work in the field when required
Documentation & Tools
  • Bluebeam experience required
  • AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or Visio experience preferred
Programming
  • Basic DSP programming and minor edits only
  • Full programming handled by in-house programmers
Performance Measures
  • On-time project completion
  • Reduction in punch list items and rework
  • Install efficiency vs estimate
  • Margin protection from field execution issues
  • Consistent and timely project closeouts
