Job Description Summary

Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) is currently seeking aSystems Engineer to join our Product Engineering team inMenasha, WI.

As a Systems Engineer specializing in technology and architecture development for microgrid components and power distribution for data centers, you will spearhead the development and commissioning of model-based systems engineering simulations to conceptualize architecture and define technology development requirements. Your role will encompass the selection and sizing of power generation and power electronic components and the definition of controls software functionality. This position demands a willingness to learn about microgrid technologies and power distribution systems to ensure innovative and efficient solution

You willcoordinateand collaboratewith internal engineering teams, as well as external third-party agenciesasneeded.Working across all engineering functions, this role requires an engineer whopossessesa diverse skillset and is willing to understand the details ofcomponentand system functionalityin multiple different fields.This position works cross functionally to definesystem andcomponentlevel requirements, informarchitecturetrade studies,and guide the technology roadmapin response to market and product strategy and direction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or equivalent

Experience: 1-4+yearsofexperience in systemsengineeringora MastersDegree

Travel: 5%

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Integrate market and product strategy into technology and systems architecture,componentand systemrequirements, and development strategy planfornew technologyand product developmentwithapplication torenewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, and data center markets
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts todevelop hardware and controls software integration requirements
  • Leverage simulation and analysis-led design ecosystem to drive technology decisions
  • Commission and leverage system-level performance simulation to drive technology and future product decisionsandoptimizesystem performance and efficiency
  • Assistin the creation of DFMEAfor product and technology functions at the system andcomponentlevel
  • Commission and collaborate with testing teams to verify andvalidatecomponentand system performance and functionality
  • Support development and verification activities according to requirements, both on bench and test cell facilities
  • Conduct top-down functional analysisand create detailed requirements,performance design criteria,architecture diagrams, logical diagrams, specificationsusing model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools
  • Participate intechnical risk management and mitigation process
  • Assess TRL level for key technologies and key critical elements
  • Assess Projectconceptand architectureagainstkey requirements
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

This role follows a hybrid work model, offering a blend of onsite collaboration at and remote flexibility. Specific onsite expectations may vary based on team needs, project priorities, and individual development.
