The Position: The Baking Education Videographer & Editor is an end-to-end producer of Baking School On-Demand classes. This person works closely with the Baking Education and Video teams to handle the technical aspects of multi-day productions, including lighting, sound, and videography. A talented editor, this person turns the footage they shoot into premium, compelling instructional videos. This role occasionally assists on set for other long-form videos.

The Location: White River Junction, VT; onsite daily.

The Pay: $67,800 to $91,500 annual salary; commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the filming and production of upwards of 15 multiday shoots per year, including lighting, sound, and file management.
  • Edit upwards of 10 On-Demand classes per year, delivering a variety of assets ranging from 30-minute lessons to 30-second vertical cuts.
  • Work closely with producers and hosts on pre-production, including developing studio timelines and shot lists.
  • Collaborate with Video, Editorial, and Baking Education leadership to support the ongoing evolution of Baking School On-Demand, including refining the productโ€™s voice, tone, and overall learner experience.
  • Set up studio equipment for functional, efficient productions on King Arthurโ€™s set, as well as occasional on-location shoots, such as within classrooms and bakeries.
  • Assist during other KAB video shoots, such as helping set up and operate cameras, sound equipment, or lights, as needed.

Experience and Education

  • At least 5 years' experience filming educational or service-driven video, particularly medium- to long-form video. Experience with food videos a plus.
  • 5 years' experience editing video in Premiere or equivalent editing software.
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm for the art of baking is a plus.
  • High school diploma, college degree a plus.
