Job Summary
We are seeking an Audio Annotation Clerk for a temporary, 100% on-site opportunity in Lake Mary, FL. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys podcasts, audiobooks, music, transcription, or long-form audio and has a strong ear for detail.
As an Audio Annotation Clerk, you will support an AI-focused project by listening to audio recordings, evaluating speech quality, identifying voice and sound characteristics, and labeling content according to detailed project guidelines. Your work will help improve speech recognition tools and artificial intelligence technology.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI data annotation within a structured, quality-focused environment. The role offers consistent weekday hours, clear expectations, project training, and the chance to contribute to innovative technology while using your listening, accuracy, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and evaluate speech quality, clarity, tone, and speaker characteristics.
- Label, categorize, and annotate audio content according to detailed project guidelines.
- Identify changes in speakers, background sounds, speech patterns, and other audio events.
- Review audio data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Maintain focus and quality while working through long audio files and repetitive annotation tasks.
- Support improvements to AI and speech recognition technology through precise data review.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $18.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: 100% on-site in Lake Mary, FL 32746.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
- Assignment Length: Temporary through the end of July, with the possibility of extension.
