Job description

Licensed Clinical Psychologist - Telehealth (PSYPACT Eligible)Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join a growing national telehealth behavioral health program focused on providing evidence-based treatment for Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD). This is a fully remote opportunity for a mission-driven clinician who is passionate about improving access to compassionate, high-quality mental health and addiction care.

The psychologist will work in a collaborative virtual care environment, providing psychotherapy, clinical assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing support for adult patients through a telehealth platform.

Position Details

Role: Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Employment Type: Full Time permanent | Remote / Telehealth
Schedule: Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling

  • Must be available for at least one evening shift until 8:00 PM CST to support patient access

  • One Saturday per month may be required

  • Administrative responsibilities completed during scheduled working hours


    (Additional flexibility may be considered for candidates holding both California licensure and PSYPACT authorization.)


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy through telehealth services

  • Conduct psychological and psychosocial assessments

  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans

  • Provide clinical care for patients experiencing Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD), anxiety, depression, trauma, and related behavioral health conditions

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions including:

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

    • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

    • Trauma-informed care

  • Support older adult populations, including primarily Medicare-age patients (60+)

  • Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention when needed

  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and external providers

  • Participate in clinical case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing collaboration

  • Monitor patient outcomes and use clinical data to guide treatment decisions

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record system

  • Communicate with patients through secure telehealth platforms, messaging, and HIPAA-compliant communication tools

  • Follow HIPAA, privacy, compliance, and clinical practice standards


Patient Population
  • Adults seeking treatment for Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD)

  • Primarily Medicare-age population (60+)

  • Patients with behavioral health and medical comorbidities

Expected Patient Volume:
Approximately 12-14 patients per day


Required Qualifications
  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) with independent practice authority

  • Active PSYPACT Authority or eligibility to obtain PSYPACT authorization

  • Eligible for ASPPB E.Passport Certificate for telepsychology practice

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy

  • Experience treating:

    • Addiction/AUD

    • Depression

    • Anxiety

    • Trauma-related conditions

  • Experience working with older adult populations preferred

  • Telehealth experience preferred

  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable using technology platforms and electronic health records


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Medicare or Medicaid populations

  • Experience with addiction treatment programs

  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery

  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
