The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a seasonal Van Driver to join our team at Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado. 

We are seeking a dependable, professional, and personable Event Driver to support day-of-event operations by safely transporting guests and clients. This role is critical to ensuring timely arrivals, smooth transitions, and a positive event experience while also assisting with on-site event processes as needed.

Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay $19.00 - $22.00 / hour

What will you do?
  • Safely transport guests and clients to and from event locations, hotels, parking areas, and other designated pick-up/drop-off points

  • Follow event schedules, routes, and transportation plans to ensure timely and efficient arrivals

  • Provide courteous, professional, and friendly service to all passengers

  • Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles as needed

  • Communicate clearly with event leadership regarding timing, delays, or changes.

Day-Of Event Support:

  • Assist with event operations during downtime between transportation needs

  • Help maintain event spaces by wiping down tables and chairs, replenishing supplies, and keeping areas orderly

  • Support restroom restocking and general maintenance throughout the event

  • Move or reset event furniture as directed during the event

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving passengers and providing excellent customer service
  • Strong communication skills and situational awareness
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and adaptable in a fast-paced event environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused at all times
Physical requirements
  • Sufficient vision that is not restricted in the performance of duties, day or night
  • Able to sit for long periods, and the ability to stand and bend
  • Ability to speak clearly and communicate well, and hear the traffic and security radio

Nova Guides provides ATV/UTV guided tours and rentals, winter snowmobile and snow coach guided tours and rentals, and private fly fishing and archery instruction. Delaware North Team Members receive 50% off on meals on workdays, and 20% off retail shop items. Twice yearly, enjoy Free Family Day, offering free access to Jeeps, Snowmobiles, and Side-by-Sides.
