Familiarity with legal research databases, case management software, and compliance systems is typically required. Strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and effective team management help set exceptional Attorney Managers apart. Attorney Manager

Join Our Growing Legal Operations Team

About The Husband & Wife Law Team

For nearly 30 years, The Husband & Wife Law Team has represented individuals and families whose lives were changed by serious injury. Our work is built on experience, integrity, and results — and on treating clients and colleagues with respect and care.

We are a family-founded firm with a strong reputation in the community and a clear mission:

To thoughtfully guide people through adversity to their best possible outcome.

We take our work seriously and believe professionalism and humanity can — and should — coexist. You’ll find a team that values excellence, collaboration, and a supportive workplace where people choose to build long-term careers.

Why You’ll Love It At The Husband & Wife Law Team

Make a real difference every day. Your work directly improves people’s lives when they need help most — that’s purpose, not just a paycheck.
World-class service isn’t a slogan — it’s what we deliver. We pursue excellence in every interaction and every case.
Be part of a passionate team. We support and celebrate one another so we can serve clients with empathy, respect, and integrity.
Hands-on, high-impact work. You’ll become a master of your role, collaborate with experts, and engage in work that truly matters.
Grow and own your role. We empower independent thinkers who take ownership and help evolve systems for even better client outcomes.
A positive, inclusive culture. We embrace fun, encouragement, and a shared mission — helping clients and our community — as part of our everyday work.
Low turnover because people want to stay. Stability isn’t boring here — we do this “treat people awesome” thing.
Be part of something bigger. We don’t just work here — we give back, we grow together, and we do it with passion, compassion, and purpose.

The Role: Attorney Manager

This isn’t a “sit back and manage spreadsheets” leadership role.

As Attorney Manager, you’ll lead, coach, and elevate a team of attorneys while keeping cases moving, clients supported, and standards high. You’ll be in the mix — mentoring attorneys, solving problems, improving systems, and making sure our legal team shows up strong for every client. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we operate, grow, and win — together.

What You’ll Be Doing

Daily Leadership

• Build and maintain a positive, solution-oriented team culture
• Assign and prioritize caseloads so work moves efficiently and intelligently
• Coach attorneys on client communication, case strategy, negotiations, and trial readiness
• Partner closely with other departments to keep cases flowing smoothly
• Ensure ethical, legal, and firm standards are met (and exceeded)
• Maintain a small client caseload and assist with intake as needed

Weekly Engagement

• Hold meaningful 1:1s focused on growth, feedback, and skill-building
• Track progress and momentum across case stages
• Audit files to spot opportunities for training, efficiency, and improvement
• Participate in leadership meetings to stay aligned on firm goals

Monthly & Long-Term Impact

• Support hiring, promotions, performance reviews, and succession planning
• Help design systems that make great attorneys even better
• Contribute to budgeting and operational planning
• Represent the firm at events and conferences — because our reputation matters

What We’re Looking For

Education/Licensure

  • Juris Doctor (JD) — required
  • Barred and Licensed in Arizona

Experience

5+ years practicing law
3+ years leading or managing people
• Personal injury experience is a plus (but leadership mindset matters most)

Skills That Matter Here

• Strong coach, mentor, and communicator
• Confident holding people accountable — without being a jerk
• Organized, analytical, and proactive
• Comfortable leading in a fast-paced, high-impact environment

What We Offer

• A true leadership seat at the table
• Hybrid work environment
• Real influence over how the legal team operates and grows
• Competitive compensation and benefits
• A culture that values people, performance, and purpose

Work Environment & Expectations

• Full-time leadership role (some extended hours may happen — we’re real about that)
• Hybrid schedule: office + remote flexibility

Ready to Lead With Heart and Impact?

If you’re energized by building people, delivering results, and being part of something that actually matters — we want to meet you.

Apply now and help us continue changing lives, one case at a time.
