Summary

Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to Oncology population. Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Adheres to rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.Job Title: Oncology Technician

Minimum Licensure (Other): CNA not required for students who have completed nursing fundamental course and are actively enrolled in nursing program (LPN, ASN, ADN, BSN). Must submit transcripts to department manager a minimum of twice per calendar year. Must provide authorization to test (ATT-NCLEX RN or ATT-NCLEX-PN, schedule and pass the test within 90 days of graduation from nursing program, as appropriate.
Training Required: -Successful completion of Moffitt's Oncology Technician orientation and checklist within the first ninety days of employment. - Basic familiarity with nursing procedures and knowledge of medical terminology. - Fundamental computer skills. - Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills.

Salary Range

$16.75 - $25.27

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
