Atrium Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Sayreville, New Jersey rehabilitation center. Your work will take place onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, which features modern equipment and a patient-centric layout designed to facilitate recovery. • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs, ensuring they adhere to industry best practices.
• Provide ongoing evaluation of patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, always ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and documentation standards.
• Maintain open communication with healthcare providers, patients, and their families regarding care plans and progress.
• Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to discussions on innovative treatment methodologies and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to physical therapy assistants, aides, and students as needed.
• Engage in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote Atrium Physical Therapy’s mission and services.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment notes accurately to comply with legal and professional standards.

As a Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population suffering from orthopedic issues, musculoskeletal disorders, post-operative rehabilitation needs, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient demographics span various ages and backgrounds, which requires cultural competence and effective communication skills to provide optimal care. Working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team allows you to enhance patient outcomes through a holistic approach.

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, reinforcing our commitment to patient safety.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective collaboration with patients and the healthcare team.
• Proficient in using electronic documentation and practice management systems.

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience as a physical therapist is required, candidates with outpatient rehabilitation experience, particularly in orthopedic therapy, will have a competitive edge. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches and current trends in physical therapy practice will also be advantageous.
