Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25

Where You Will Work

Atrium Health Charlotte Outpatient Weight Management Clinic, located at 2630 E 7th Street, Suite 100 Charlotte, NC 28204. The clinic specializes in obesity medicine, medical and surgical weight loss, and provides comprehensive patient‑centered care through a multidisciplinary team.

We’re Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
  • Prior ambulatory experience preferred
  • Current certification in BLS required
  • BSN preferred
Position Details

Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Outpatient Weight Management Clinic delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered nursing care within a multidisciplinary surgical setting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Initiating peripheral intravenous (IV) access for in‑clinic procedures
  • Conducting clinical triage of patient telephone inquiries
  • Coordinating prior authorizations for diagnostic studies and surgical interventions
  • Assisting with pre‑operative and post‑operative patient flow by preparing and rooming patients for the surgeon
What You’ll Do

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication skills to create a safe patient environment and deliver an excellent patient experience across the continuum.
