Job description

The USCG IPT is seeking a Process Analyst in the NCR to support the US Coast Guard Acquisition team with day-to-day program support. The Process Analyst will serve as a facilitator and organizer, undertaking complex planning and organizational efforts requiring the ability to learn about USCG Acquisitions processes. The candidate must be self-motivated, able to problem-solve, think outside the box, and have a strong work ethic. The candidate must have the ability to collaborate and communicate in a team environment but also work independently to complete assigned tasking. The Process Analyst will provide organizational process support as directed by and in direct support of the government portfolio manager.

Travel: Up to 20%

Work Location: Washington, DC - Onsite at least 3 days/week

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Perform process improvement analysis and support for Integrated Product Team (IPT)
  • Coordinate internal events, teleconferences, and sponsor engagement in support of government leadership
  • Collect and report data for dissemination across the functional team, as required
  • Facilitate internal processes, including travel processes, weekly activity reporting, and stakeholder management processes/products
  • Record meeting minutes and action items for both scheduled and ad hoc meetings/conversations
  • Reserve conference rooms, phone bridges, MS Teams, and other audio/video services scheduling, and reservations, as required
  • Assist in production of formal document products, such as team briefs, presentations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure all tasking both internal and external to the team are tracked and leadership has awareness on deadline and critical information requests

You Must Have:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
  • Advanced knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong documentation and oral communication skills to clearly communicate with all levels of employees, management, and clients
  • Strong analytical skills
  • The ability to work independently and the initiative to complete tasking without direction
  • Excellent prioritization and coordination skills with the ability to work multiple deadlines under pressure
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Strong executive presence
  • The ability to work with others in a highly collaborative environment

Impressed if You Had:

  • A college degree is preferred, but the combination of education, professional training, or work experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Prior Process Analyst experience on a government contract.
  • Experienced providing executive level administrative support.
  • Experience with US Coast Guard and/or Navy projects and programs
