Construction Manager - Night Shift job at Atlas. Los Angeles, CA.

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced construction manager to oversee night shift activities for complex infrastructure projects, with a focus on compliance, coordination, and safety during active construction in high‑traffic public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage nightly construction operations across terminal, landside, and airside areas.
  • Lead nightly and morning coordination meetings to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify ASR (Area Shutdown Request) compliance, safety measures, signage, and proper barricading.
  • Ensure accurate documentation is present at each site, including current ASRs and vehicle credentials.
  • Coordinate with operations, safety, and law enforcement to resolve issues promptly.
  • Document work through detailed nightly reports with photos and site observations.
  • Track all active projects and ensure minimal disruption to operations and the public.
  • Identify and report deficiencies, working with teams to implement corrections.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and refine procedures.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of construction management experience, preferably in airports or similarly complex environments.
  • Minimum of 3 years in airport settings or 5 years in other critical facilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Ability to manage high‑pressure situations, prioritize effectively, and work flexible hours.
Compensation

$130k-$150k. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
