We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing team at Athletics Therapy Center in West McLean, Virginia. This position is primarily onsite, allowing you to work closely with your patients in their own homes, which enhances comfort and encourages progress. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to improving patient outcomes and providing personalized care. The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient mobility and function to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring independence.
• Design and implement individualized therapeutic exercise programs, ensuring to address specific patient needs, limitations, and goals.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams that include occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to refine treatment approaches and enhance patient care.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, updating care plans as necessary, and provide educational support to patients and their caregivers regarding safety, exercises, and preventative strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.

Your primary focus will be on senior clients, often dealing with mobility-related challenges due to age or medical conditions. You will play an essential role in helping them regain strength and confidence in their movement, ensuring their dignity and independence are upheld throughout their rehabilitation journey.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active Virginia PT license with a clean professional standing.
• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, particularly in settings involving geriatrics, rehabilitation, or home care is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to communicate empathy and provide patient-centered care.
• A passion for enhancing the well-being and independence of aging adults.

• Experience working in home care environments, specifically with older adults and individuals with chronic conditions.
• Familiarity with physical therapy tools and modalities, such as ultrasound machines and resistance bands, as well as current evidence-based practices in rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation software and electronic health records is an asset.

Your compensation will range between $90,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
