Position Summary:
This posting is part of our ongoing effort to build a network of qualified candidates for future opportunities. Although there is not a current vacancy, we review applications regularly and will reach out when a suitable role becomes available.
Athletic Trainers report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance. Athletic Trainers evaluate athletic injuries, consult with team physicians and/or healthcare professionals, provide health care, and referral for patients in support of injury care and injury prevention for 16 varsity sports.
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide practice and event coverage including evenings and weekends
  • Supervise athletic training facilities and student first aiders.
  • Provide care, prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation and documentation of injuries for assigned sport responsibilities.
  • Communicate with sports medicine, coaching, and athletic administration staff is expected. Sport assignments and other duties to be determined by the Head Athletic Trainer.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • NATA BOC certification. Wisconsin license eligible.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, AED certification
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.
