Job Summary

Never Satisfied Performance is seeking a driven Sports Performance Coach to join our growing team. As a Sports Performance Coach, you will design and lead training programs that develop speed, strength, power, and athleticism in athletes of all levels — from youth competitors to collegiate and adult performers. You will conduct performance assessments, build individualized programming, and coach athletes through training sessions that push them to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is a passionate, knowledgeable coach who lives the "never satisfied" mindset and thrives on helping athletes achieve measurable results.
Responsibilities

  • Perform athletic performance assessments to evaluate each athlete's strength, speed, mobility, and movement quality
  • Design and implement individualized sport-specific training programs and progress them over time based on athlete development
  • Coach proper technique for strength training, plyometrics, sprint mechanics, agility, and conditioning
  • Demonstrate safe and effective use of training equipment including barbells, sleds, plyometric tools, and speed/agility apparatus
  • Lead group training sessions and small-group performance classes with high energy and attention to detail
  • Track athlete progress through performance metrics and adjust programming to drive continued improvement
  • Educate athletes on recovery, nutrition basics, and injury prevention strategies
  • Ensure all facility safety standards and procedures are followed at all times
  • Build strong relationships with athletes, parents, and the broader community to support retention and growth
Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred
  • Current certification such as CSCS (NSCA), USAW, NASM-PES, CFSC, or equivalent sports performance credential
  • Knowledge of physiology, biomechanics, sport-specific training principles, and program design
  • Experience coaching athletes in a performance, strength and conditioning, or sports training setting preferred
  • First aid and CPR/AED certified
  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Genuine passion for athletic development and a commitment to continuous learning
