Job Responsibilities
The Northeast Health District is seeking a Clinic Manager to provide leadership, oversight, and coordination of daily operations within a multidisciplinary HIV clinic. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care through medical, case management, and support services. The Clinic Manager supervises staff, optimizes workflows, and supports patients with complex medical and social needs, including homelessness, mental health conditions, substance use, and other comorbidities.
Schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, Tuesday 8 am to 7 pm, Friday 8 am to 2 pm. Position is in Athens, GA.
  • Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team, including clinical, case management, administrative, and laboratory staff
  • Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient, patient-centered service delivery
  • Develop and implement workflows, policies, and procedures to improve clinic performance and outcomes
  • Support coordination of care, including case management, linkage, and retention services for patients with complex needs
  • Monitor clinic productivity, patient flow, and service utilization; address operational challenges
  • Assist with scheduling strategies, no-show reduction, and continuity of care efforts
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and program requirements, including Ryan White
  • Provide oversight of laboratory operations, insurance verification, billing, and reimbursement processes
  • Support staff training, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Foster a collaborative, team-based environment focused on high-quality care

Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND five (5) years of RN supervisory/management experience and completion of PHN course within six (6) months of hire if no PHN experience and current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license and CPR certification.
OR
Two (2) years of experience at the lower-level PH Nursing Spv 1 (HCP194) or position equivalent and current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license and CPR certification.
