JOB TITLE: ATF Compliance Lead
JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for maintaining compliance for Diamondback Firearms. This role will be working closely with the COO for Diamondback Firearms and the compliance department for our other companies. This role will ensure that the company and employees are maintaining ATF compliance.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience working in ATF Compliance
  • 1+ years of experience working in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent understanding of ATF and all regulations impacting products Diamondback Firearms manufactures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Proficient in bound book software

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Previous experience with Easy Bound Book software

CORE DUTIES

  • Perform physical inventory counts
  • Acquire, dispose, and model convert serialized items
  • Oversee all bound book transactions
  • Oversee the shipment of all repairs and warranty replacements
  • Oversee all 4473 transactions, record in bound book, and store in appropriate manner as outlined in ATF procedures
  • Oversee the transfer of products between DBF and vendors for external processes
  • Crosstrain compliance team members in all areas of ATF compliance
  • Ensure lowers are destroyed timely and correctly
  • Train all employees relating to compliance and their responsibilities (all companies / all shifts)
  • Ensure that all products are properly labeled when item is not for sale/personal collection
  • Verify that all vendors are sending the appropriate paperwork with shipments and they are within their allotted serial numbers as listed on the variances
  • Create and maintain manuals for compliance processes and procedures as needed
  • Maintain shared spreadsheets used by multiple departments and create new ones as necessary
  • Work with shipping department to ensure that all shipments meet ATF requirements
  • Ensure that all records are maintained as outlined by ATF
  • Research and answer compliance related questions whether by our employees or external vendors
  • File lost/stolen reports as necessary and ensure that correct LEO departments are notified, and the correct paperwork is filed
  • Gather required information for ATF traces from EBB and provide ATF with information for old transactions from QuickBooks
  • Handle all day-to-day compliance tasks that are not outlined above

HOURS

  • 1st shift position
  • Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Overtime as needed


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.? Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
