• Support the ATF Director in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth scheduling, staff, and activity coordination.
• Oversee the day program supervisors and help them in organizing activities, individual and group, appropriate to the individual’s functioning level.
• Oversee the weekly activity plans for all groups to ensure creative and varied activities are planned
• Oversee that planned outings are completed unless weather or staffing or vehicle limitations prohibit them
• Responsible for ensuring transportation for outings is available
• Coordinate with the ATF Director and supervisors the planning of holidays and special events to include but not limited to Holiday Parties, Art exhibitions, Fall Festival, and all seasonal celebrations and parties.
• Ensure the individuals’ money brought in for activities is tracked and receipts accounted for with the supervisors and that reconciliation of funds occur.
• Assist the team in program development and ensure implementation of the individual Program Plan, Individual Support Plan, and Care plan.
• Communicate on an ongoing basis with ATF Director, Fatima team, Residential team, and families.
• Take an active interest in promoting and protecting the human and civil rights of each individual
• Treat all records and individual’s information with confidentiality and respect.
• Know and follow Fatima Day Program procedures and policies both internal policies and state regulations.
• Take part in training all new ATF staff and assist in ensuring new individuals receive the needed orientation.
• Promote effective working relationships with administration, ATF staff, consulting staff, QIDP’s, and other departments of Catholic Charities.
• Take full responsibility in the supervision of the ATF supervisors and program along with and in the absence of the ATF Director.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a professional manner that promotes camaraderie and respect, with co-workers, supervisors, and others.
• Act as a positive role model for supervisors and ATF floor instructors in all interactions.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Administrator and ATF Director.
• Be a member of the interdisciplinary team and attend team meetings.
• Act as the Aging Director for those who have care plans.

Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation/ Special Education, Psychology, or related field.

Two years’ experience working with people who have disabilities.

• Ability to read and writecompetently in English.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions when challenges arise unexpectedly.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook

• Valid (state of residence) Driver's License and driving approval from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia is required.
• Must attend and acquire certification in the DPW Certified Investigator Training (within one year of hire date, as training schedule permits)

• Must be able to get and maintain acceptable background clearances – FBI, PA State Police Criminal History, and PA Department of Human Services Child Abuse

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Direct oversight of all group home managers
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to work in a variety of settings and environments and has an occasional exposure risk to adverse weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually light to moderate.
• In the event that unanticipated aggressive behavior manifests from individuals served and de-escalation techniques fail, physical crisis intervention may be required.
• The work hours of this job are 8 hours per day, 5 days per week but it is also expected for employee to be available during off hours to answer work related phone calls, emails, or text messages and, if need be, be physically available to go on site

• The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, stand, and sit.
• The employee is occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and taste or smell.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may face moderate exposure risks to blood borne pathogens, with a low exposure risk to hazardous materials.
