In order to support its growth in NAM region, ATEME is recruiting a Junior Lab Engineer.

Mission:

In this role, you will support day-to-day lab operations related to equipment management, system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and operational support. You will contribute directly to maintaining lab performance, supporting customer environments, and ensuring system reliability while collaborating closely with engineering, support, and pre-sales teams.

Main responsibilities:

Technical Support

  • Provide office-based technical support

  • Track and follow up on customer incidents from submission through resolution

  • Replicate, analyze, and manage lab tests to reproduce reported issues

  • Validate patches, software updates, and hot fixes

  • Manage and follow up on RMA (Return Material Authorization) processes

  • Provide internal technical support to pre-sales and system engineering teams

  • Perform hands-on lab activities, including moving and lifting equipment weighing up to 50 lbs

Project & System Engineering

  • Support system integration and end-to-end testing

  • Manage interoperability testing across platforms and environments

  • Configure project and system settings

  • Contribute to system documentation and technical reporting

Administration & Documentation

  • Manage the CRM (JIRA) database for incident tracking and knowledge base updates

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and product notes

  • Assist in migrating and maintaining customer system configurations

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of lab and support processes

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in a technical support, lab engineering, systems integration, or similar technical environment

  • Basic understanding of IP networking, Linux/Unix environments, and system troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with video streaming, broadcast technologies, or cloud environments is a plus

  • Experience with ticketing or CRM platforms such as JIRA is preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working hands-on with technical equipment and hardware

Salary & Benefits:

  • Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 per year + potential incentives

  • Work Environment: This role requires onsite presence.

  • Time Off: 15 days PTO, 9 paid holidays, 7 sick days + additional leave based on seniority

  • Health & Financial: Medical, dental, vision, Life & AD&D, 401(k) with 4% match

  • Monthly Allowance: Up to $70 for phone expenses
