Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Development and delivery of products working along with a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship on critical technology projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to define project requirements and deliverables
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions in accordance with project specifications.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the team adheres to best practices and efficient development methodologies, such as Agile.
  • Implement software for cloud, edge, and on-prem platforms built in C#, .NET, Python, and modern microservice frameworks.
  • Research advanced and emerging technologies and collaborate with other architects on new cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into modern system architectures, including containerized and microservice-based environments.
  • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering and product teams to integrate security into the full development lifecycle.

Qualifications
US PERSON REQUIREMENT
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development in cybersecurity, security architecture, or a related technical domain.
  • Strong understanding of containerized and microservice-based architectures.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and security fundamentals.
  • Strong Coding experience in multiple languages - including .NET Core and C# for backend development, and JavaScript, ReactJS, and TypeScript for frontend development.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Service Bus

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or another related field
  • Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
  • Expertise in driving the adoption of coding standards and identifying risks with mitigation solutions.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
  • Experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud security services (IAM, KMS, VPC, WAF, container security, etc.).
  • Experience in coding AI/ML pipelines or cloud-hosted models.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC.
  • Experience working in product-based engineering environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
