Position Summary
The Project Manager at T&T Construction Management Group is a critical role responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of tilt-up concrete construction projects. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of construction principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Project Managers at T&T are the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and proactive problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project costs, track expenses, manage change orders, and ensure financial targets are met, identifying and mitigating potential budget overruns.
  • Schedule Adherence: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress, identifying critical path activities, and implementing strategies to maintain timelines.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all project activities adhere to T&T's quality standards, industry best practices, and relevant building codes.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential project risks (e.g., safety, cost, schedule, quality), develop mitigation strategies, and manage unforeseen challenges.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and motivate project teams, including superintendents, foremen, and field personnel. Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison with clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Contract Management: Understand and manage project contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Safety Oversight: Champion a strong safety culture on all job sites, ensuring compliance with all company and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, meeting minutes, and financial records. Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during projects, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining project momentum.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in construction project management, with some exposure to concrete construction or general commercial construction projects. Experience specifically with tilt-up is a strong asset.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Basic understanding of construction project lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with construction documents (blueprints, specifications).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage small to medium-sized projects under supervision.
