Swiss Machine 2nd shift operations

**Must operate Star Swiss,Key Responsibilities: **

  • Set up machines (Install tooling, touch off tools, install guide bushings/collets, etc.)
  • Control and adjust machine settings (guide bushing, collet tension, etc.)
  • Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
  • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
  • Maintain a clean work area

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Swiss Machine operator (Star Swiss)
  • Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
  • Understanding and interpreting GD&T
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear)
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus
