As a Mk21A EMD AFS Deputy Program Manager, you will be responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of a product(s) within the MK21A program. You will have ownership of all aspects from design through delivery. The Deputy Program Manager will oversee daily tasking across a multi-functional team, including but not limited to, engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, planning and production. This position will be Control Account Manager (CAM) of record for multiple control accounts associated with that product. The candidate will work closely with the component Certified Principal Engineers (CPE) and Responsible System Engineer, to help resolve any technical issues. This individual will directly support the IPT Lead for either the RV, AFS, or Support Equipment.
The role is challenging, but also very rewarding with significant potential for exposure on this high-visibility program and career advancement in the Program Management function. We invite all who have a passion for space, missile defense, and program management to apply.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Cost, Technical, Schedule execution for selected product(s), with a focus on meeting delivery commitment dates.
• Resolving programmatic challenges within your scope and establishing risk mitigation activities
• Supporting the overall programmatic business rhythm for baseline management, monthly reporting, status and communication, and overall Earned Value Management (EVM) performance of your span of control. This can include generation of monthly VARs for current period and CTD performance of ControlAccounts.
• Lead the design and development culture to focus on Digital Engineering and Design for "X" to ensure efficient design and production without escapes, and enhanced communication across all functional disciplines
• Developing a baseline plan and managing overall execution of support organizations which are required to ensure program execution success, such as Supply Chain (subcontracts and piece part) procurements, Production Operations, Engineering, Finance and Planning.
• Coordinate staffing requirements for your program scope with the entire program leadership team for consolidation of total program requirements
• Report out to the Mk21A Program Manager, IPT Lead, and RSE at recurring reviews within the program business rhythm
• Promote an environment of continuous improvement and digital transformation within your responsible program scope
Basic Qualifications
• Experience developing and executing cost and
schedule baselines
• Understanding of Control Account Management
(CAM) responsibilities, including Earned Value
Management (EVM) and managing performance
metrics.
• Ability to travel on an as-needed basis

programs and Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center
/ ICBM Customer
• Experience across the entire program life cycle

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
