Program Manager 
Primary Function:
Paws for Patrick seeks a proven programming professional who is passionate about our mission to serve as our Program Manager. As a member of the organization’s team, this person will work with the Executive Director, peers, and the Board of Directors to create and facilitate the efforts of our mission delivery programs.   
 
While fulfilling responsibilities, the Manager will be expected to maintain the integrity of Paws for Patrick’s mission, culture, brand standards, core values, and goals.
 
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Candidate will be responsible for completing a broad variety of programming functions to maintain and grow our Emotional Support Animal (ESA), Therapy Dog, and Facility Dog programs.  To carry out this role effectively, the Manager must have a clear grasp of the Paws for Patrick vision and values; be able to deliver a consistent message about all Paws for Patrick initiatives; maintain up-to-date knowledge of partners and services; and be able to establish rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders to increase connectivity and collaboration.   This will be a Full-Time position.  
Programming
In partnership with the Executive Director, and Board of Directors, implement and administer the Emotional Support Animal (ESA), Therapy Dog, and Facility Dog’s day-to-day operations.  
*  Emotional Support Animals (ESA) Program
*  Partner with Executive Director and the Board of Director 
*  Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing vendors, while researching alternative and/or additional vendors that may increase mission delivery and/or efficiency within the program.
*  Administration of Volunteer roles.
*  Continually assess the ESA process to increase effectiveness and efficiency, while maintaining “best in class” customer service for all clients.
*  Troubleshoot Volunteer and client questions daily as needed.
*  Track mission delivery to stay on target with monthly and annual goals
Therapy Dog Program 
*  Partner with Executive Director and the Board of Directors – Therapy Dog Chair(s)
*  Maintain and establish relationships with facilities.
*  Manage Volunteer recruitment, training and troubleshooting.
*  Establish partnerships in each new location.
*  Coordinate Volunteer Recognition program.
 
 Facility Dog Program
*  Partner with Executive Director and the Board of Directors – Facility Dog Chair(s)
*  Maintain and grow Facility Dog Program – Review applications and connect with past and prospective recipients to evaluate program effectiveness.
*  Maintain relationships with Facility Training Partner in Georgia and Grayson Murray Foundation.
*  In conjunction with Marketing & Communications, develop quarterly reporting on placed Facility Dogs for partners, marketing, and development.  
Manage Program Evaluations for all programs, determining efficacy, client satisfaction, data tracking and reporting, and annual reports to assist in program improvement, sustainability and growth.  
*  Reconcile expense submissions from partners.
*  Develop annual program budgets. Review and submit variance reports monthly.  
*  Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, insurance, contractual obligations, vendor/partnership agreements, and confidentiality agreements with clients.
*  Represent Paws for Patrick at events, programming days, serving as a key Ambassador.  
 
Marketing and Communication 
Working with the Marketing & Communications Team and Board of Directors, collaborate to shape content that supports each program and special events.  This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing monthly newsletters, sharing stories and information for the website, social media and program launches as well as assisting at events/presentations to drive awareness. Assist in creating content and editing newsletters to provide helpful information and stories for awareness and outreach.  
In partnership with the Marketing & Communications Team and Board of Directors, share annual fund campaigns and initiatives (including Annual Report and Mental Health May) with partners to support Paws for Patrick’s mission. 
 
The Program Manager works on multiple tasks simultaneously, performs well under pressure, effectively prioritizes, and meets deadlines. The successful candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external audiences. 
Requirements:
·       Familiarity in program coordination, with previous experience overseeing or working within.
·       Excellent writing and verbal communications skills.
·       Experience in building strong relationships and collaborating with donors, Board of Directors/Committees, and other high-level volunteer leadership.
·       Strong organizational skills, both in terms of time management and in detail-oriented work.  
·       Ability to learn computer systems and databases.
·       High Level comfort working with Google Sheets and Forms
·       Familiarity with Canva, Tableau, Video Creation and Microsoft One Drive are a bonus
·       Capability to work in a remote environment, with some local and national travel when required.
·       Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

The duties of this job will typically be performed in a completely virtual office environment, and the role may require lifting of up to 25 lbs. Individuals must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand in a variety of environments.
