Prairie Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to evaluate their mental health needs.
• Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals.
• Provide one-on-one teletherapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others tailored to the client's specific situations.
• Regularly set and review therapeutic goals, closely monitoring and adjusting treatment strategies based on client progress and feedback.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client sessions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards and best practices in mental health care.
• Actively engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and peer supervision.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or PsyD.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with clients and understand their experiences.
• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients and their journeys.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work setting.

While not mandatory, experience working in a community health setting or with telehealth services is highly preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and prior engagement in continuous professional development activities will also be beneficial for candidates.

Prairie Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to financial compensation, we provide:
