Job description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all the fine details in the timely receiving, storage and delivery of warehouse products.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities, Include but are not limited to:

  1. Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
  2. Responsible for managing and protecting all inventory and company assets in accordance with company policy against theft and damage.
  3. Receive work orders from supervisor to pick orders for shipment to FFH stores.
  4. Able to sort product with 100% accuracy
  5. Ensure items are fitted together/assembled properly and labeled before being shipped out.
  6. Label pallets/packages as needed in accordance to labeling procedures provided by FFH.
  7. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, high lift, pallet jack and floor cleaning machine.
  8. Keep warehouse area clean on a consistent basis.
  9. All other duties as assigned by supervisor or company official.

Warehouse Associate Requirements:

A successful Warehouse Associate will be responsible for implementing strategic decisions that govern the need for space apart from unloading and loading freight and providing service to our stores. This position requires an individual to be extremely dexterous as he will be required to operate warehouse equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations.  A Warehouse Associate must be able to bend, twist, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.  Good communication and time management skills as well as an attention to detail are a must for a Warehouse Associate. A Family Farm and Home Warehouse Associate will perform duties is a safe manner, following FFH safety procedures.
