What is an at home scribe?

At Home Scribes are professionals who work remotely to document patient encounters, typically by listening to recordings or live audio from healthcare providers. They transcribe medical information, update electronic health records (EHR), and ensure that all clinical documentation is accurate and up-to-date. This role helps physicians focus more on patient care by reducing their administrative workload.
