• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs, developing personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring approaches are tailored to each client’s specific situation.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards while ensuring client confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to coordinate care, including case discussions and treatment updates, to address the comprehensive mental health needs of clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities, such as attending workshops and staying current with the latest research in mental health to enhance clinical practice and service delivery.

The LPC will primarily serve a diverse population with varying access to mental health care, including economically disadvantaged individuals, families, and those grappling with mental health disorders, trauma, and substance use issues. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Connecticut is essential.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
