Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Administrative Support role provides administrative support and assistance for ensuring high quality I/DD programs and services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide general administrative supports to I/DD Directors and Managers, including, but not limited to:
    • Entering data and maintaining spreadsheets
    • Auditing records for quality and compliance
    • Scanning, importing, copying and collating documents
    • Making phone calls and sending emails
    • Organizing and maintaining both electronic and paper files
    • Mailing letters/documents
    • Completing functions related to Medicaid billing
    • Providing tasks related to maintaining a clean and organized office/work environment
    • Visiting other services sites, including day training and participant homes on occasion to assist with auditing
    • Running errands
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Knowledge and proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Software systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS / EXPECTATIONS:
  • This role is primarily conducted a professional office or clinical setting and involves sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry office supplies/equipment 15-20 lbs.
