Overview

We're seeking a Data Center Cable Technician to support a large-scale cabling installation project at a data center facility in Boise, ID. This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on copper and fiber infrastructure work, with the flexibility to scale effort during high-volume install weeks.

Responsibilities:

              •            Perform copper and fiber patch panel installation and terminations

              •            Install and dress fiber shelf/tray connections per project standards

              •            Support cable routing, labeling, and organization within racks

              •            Scale work output during peak/high-volume installation periods

              •            Coordinate daily tasks with the on-site lead/foreperson

              •            Follow established cable management and quality standards to avoid rework

 

Qualifications:

              •            Prior experience with structured cabling in a data center environment

              •            Proficiency with copper (Cat6/6A) and fiber (LC/SC/MPO) terminations and testing

              •            Familiarity with patch panel and fiber shelf installation practices

              •            Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

              •            Comfortable working on-site for extended shifts during scale-up periods
