Description

Basic Description:

Licensed individual to interact with customers to quote, write and manage all facets of their insurance policies. Will primarily be charged with handling existing book activities such as policy changes, re-markets, document follow up etc. We believe in working to understand and serve customers to meet their insurance and financial security needs.


Initial training will be held in person. Once complete there will be a possibility of working from home or hybrid depending on experience.


Responsibilities: (including, yet not limited to)

  • Service to internal leads and existing book of business
  • Monitor renewals and provide re-market quotesย 
  • Call on policyholders to deliver and explain policy, initiate back end follow up
  • Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any necessary inspections and the completion of appropriate forms for coverageย 
  • Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made on a policy
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, providing documents to third party companies and handling policy renewals
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance to retain their business
  • Values transparency and honesty, always investing in customer relationships
  • Shares their expertise to help educate customers and build trust-especially in new relationships.ย 


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Maintain current licensing in all applicable statesย 
  • Working knowledge of insurance and state regulations for personal linesย 
  • Experience quoting and working with multiple carriers in a broker environment
  • Experience working in AMS 360 Management System or Applied System
  • Excellent organizational and communication skillsย 
  • Motivated self-starter comfortable working in a broker environmentย
