Job Description

Hours: Full-time or part-time, no weekends

TheUltrasoundTechnologistcollaborates with the Primary Care Medical Centerteam to deliver exemplary patient care and customer service while performing a variety of technical and patient care procedures.

How You Will Get Things Done:

  • Perform allsonographyimaging procedures, properly preparing and positioning patients for imagingexams

  • Position the patient appropriately to bestdemonstrateanatomic area ofinterest

  • Organize andmonitorpatient flowtomeet company productivity, quality,and safetystandards

How You Will Build Trust:

  • Proactively and consistently understand the needs of our customers andpatients

  • Effectively provide service and/or resolvesproblems

  • Thoroughly explain procedure to be performed to alleviate patient anxiety andfacilitatepatientcooperation

How You Will Innovate:

  • Perform image reconstruction asnecessary

  • Utilizes clear and effective communication to properly screen patients prior to scan for any precautions or contraindicationspertaining toorderedexam

Experience to Drive Change:

  • Satisfactory completion of a formalsonographyprogram or other compatible course of study

  • RDMS certificationrequired(abdomen, vascular, and OB/GYNpreferred)

  • Minimum of 1 yearsonographyexperiencepreferred

  • Breast ultrasound and MSK preferred
