The City of South Jordan is hiring Crossing Guards to assist students and pedestrians at designated school crossings while school is in session. In this important public-service role, you will help create a safe, welcoming environment for children traveling to and from school. Your attention, dependability, and sound judgment will support families, schools, and the broader South Jordan community each day.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure safe crossing for children on their way to and from school
  • Monitor traffic conditions and determine the best times for crossing
  • Prepare the school crossing zone by placing warning cones in the street before crossing periods.
