Job description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist, offering services across all grades from PreK through 12th at both an elementary and high school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. Contribute your expertise to an engaged school community and positively shape student outcomes over the course of this August to May position.
Key Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to supervise and mentor Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs)
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to manage a varied caseload across multiple grade levels
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 150 students at elementary and secondary levels
  • Assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
  • Supervise and guide three SLAs, ensuring effective and ethical delivery of therapy
  • Maintain thorough progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Engage in regular communication with families and school staff to support student success
Position Details & Schedule:
  • Contract runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027
  • Work 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm
  • Caseload spans PreK through 12th grade, providing a rich and varied professional experience
