This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history and performing specialized assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting and treatment decisions.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient assessments and care needs, adapting to changes in the patient’s condition and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance care, recognizing when to modify treatment plans or seek additional medical consultations.
• Ensure thorough documentation and accurate coding of patient care activities, maintaining a record that captures the patient's journey from initial evaluation to discharge.
• Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations while ensuring all patient interactions are impactful and supportive.
• Contribute actively to departmental goals, initiatives, and compliance with accreditation standards, while embracing continuous education for personal and professional growth.
• Enhance the patient experience by promoting accessibility and reducing barriers to care through participation in community outreach and marketing efforts.

Our rehabilitation center serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with patients across various age groups, tailoring therapies to meet their specific rehabilitation needs. Your role will directly impact their recovery journey, helping them regain mobility, strength, and independence.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license as required by Virginia state regulations.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
• While prior experience is not required, a strong commitment to patient-centered care is essential.

Though not mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, knowledge of electronic health record systems, or familiarity with rehabilitation modalities will be favored. This background can enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our team and patient outcomes.
