In this critical role, you will be responsible for the management, inspection, inventory control, storage, and disposal of various types of ammunition, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols. Your expertise will contribute to the effective support of operational needs, playing a vital role in maintaining the availability, accuracy, and safe storage of ammunition while upholding our commitment to excellence and security. * Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming ammunition shipments.
* Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain stock records using electronic systems.
* Monitor ammunition usage, anticipate future needs, and request resupply when necessary.
* Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify damaged or expired ammunition.
* Maintain strict adherence to security protocols and prevent unauthorized access to ammunition storage areas.
* Generate reports on stock levels, usage, and any discrepancies encountered.
Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience in ammunition management or a related field is preferred.
* Knowledge of ammunition types, safety regulations, and inventory control practices.
* Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Proficient in using computer systems and inventory management software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Physical stamina to lift and move heavy ammunition boxes as required.
* U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain necessary security clearances.
