Health Bridge Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' mental health history and unique trauma experiences, forming the basis for tailored treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with patients to develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans with a strong focus on trauma recovery and building resilience.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address patients' needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process traumatic experiences and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and integrated care strategies are being employed for each patient.
• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and interventions during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about the psychological impacts of trauma, effective coping strategies, and the resources available to aid in recovery.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and various dissociative disorders. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-informed therapy and practices.
• Proficient understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Capable of maintaining composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools.
• A willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented atmosphere.

• Previous experience providing trauma-focused therapies, specifically EMDR and TF-CBT.
• A background in working with diverse populations and knowledge of cultural competence in therapy.
